I was looking back through my posts and I realize I never blogged about our Oct 2012 trip to San Francisco. Perhaps b/c I take for granted how often I am in that beautiful city. But this trip was especially different because we decided to make it a trip spent outside in nature exploring the breathtaking scenery. Day 1 we rented bikes and took the route from San Francisco, across the Golden Gate to Sausalito where we had lunch and then hopped the ferry back across the bay. It was one of the most gorgeous days I've ever seen in the city.
Day 2 we rented a convertible and went to Muir Woods. It was foggy on the SF side of the bridge but once we crossed, the sun came out and it was absolutely beautiful.
Most of the trees in the park are over 200 feet tall and almost 1,000 years old!
