On the 27th, we loaded up and started the 8+ hour drive to Little Rock. It's a 3rd Annual New Years Eve celebration at the Neal Family Farm. The trip consists mostly of catching up with family and friends, exchanging gifts, eating & drinking, riding 4 wheelers, shooting guns, eating & drinking some more, making bonfires, playing games and having a blast all around! This year we had a smaller group than the past few years due to rainy weather, but it meant more quality time with everyone. And more snow for us!
When we arrived it was gorgeous! It had snowed over 8 inches in town and 10 inches at the farm.
Before we left Little Rock we exchanged Christmas gifts. Steve got new couch pillows, pj pants, an awesome mug and some pick your nose cups. ha!
Justin and I got all sorts of goodies, new desk calendars and gift cards.
And since some of our family weren't able to spend NYE with us, we had a small dinner party at Steve's the night before we left for the farm.
When we got to the farm we unloaded and jumped on the 4 wheelers to start exploring the snow. So thankful for the time we got to spend with everyone! Until next year...
It was so cold of course we had to cut our own firewood for inside and out.
Steve did most of the work and let Patrick do the honors....Timberrrrrr!
It rained all day on the 31st so instead of being out at the bonfire all day, we stayed inside and played games. Regardless of the weather, we still managed to have a great time together!!
Happy 2013! Make it a great year!
