But when we got there it was raining...and it didn't stop until the next morning...The area got 14 inches of rain before it was said and done. Here's the view from our balcony:
Around 4pm we were sitting in the hotel bar, socializing with some of his co-workers, when the power went out. And it didn't come back on until after 10 pm! That made for an interesting dinner with very few lights (running on a generator) and no AC!
On day 2 it was beautiful! We had massages in the morning and then posted up under an umbrella at the beach and read and napped and swam in the ocean all day.
Later that night we had dinner on a yacht with everyone else from GP. Here we are before dinner with Justin's colleague, Maura, and her husband Adam. I wasn't good about dragging my camera around but at least we managed to get pics before dinner each night.
Our last morning we had breakfast in the room and then went back to the spa for facials. So relaxing!
Our last night was the GP Presidents Club Awards Dinner. Here are a couple pics from my iPhone although the quality is really poor. I'm so proud of my hubby!!
There were lots of people taking pictures so hopefully I can get my hands on some of those for a follow up post. No pressure babe, but let's work on making sure we get to go on this trip again next year. I really enjoyed celebrating your accomplishments! ;)
